As you know I’m new to this Land of Blog. It’s completely alien but I’m giving it a go. I’m led to believe that you would like to know the story behind the story (the one you can read in the top tab). Well where to begin?
Am I super fit? I WISH
Am I the dress size that I would like to be? NO but I’m beginning to accept that 2 children have changed my shape FOREVER!
Do I love exercise? Honest answer NO. But I DO love the feeling that I get AFTER exercise and I normally use it as an excuse to eat crisps. You know the one..’ I’ve done an hour of exercise so I can have 15 bags of crisps’! A flawed approach.
I’m not really selling Solemother very well am I?
Well I suppose that’s the point. It’s not about being Super fit, super thin or a super mum. Although we do actually have all of those too I just choose to not stand next to them!
I’m a Mum of 2 very energetic girls. We have had 8 years of hideous sleep deprivation and yet they have been the best 8 of our lives. I want to live as long as I can to see as much of their lives as possible.
The Goal: To live as long as possible.
I know that sounds dramatic but it’s true. If I’m healthy on the inside surely that has to give me the best shot? I know we cant account for the evils (you all know I’m talking about Cancer) but by striving to be healthy on the inside I have gained so much more. This exciting new venture being one of them.
I’d be lying if I said that weight loss wasn’t a desired outcome but I’m also a realist and know I like to enjoy some of the naughtier things in life… Cheers!
I’ll try and cover the personal bits that everyone advises that you put into these very quickly;
- Have I mentioned I like crisps? Oh and cheese. I love cheese. Oh and bread. I love bread.
- I’m outdoorsy
- I love sleep but I don’t get enough
- I’m an Early Years Teacher – any grammatical errors are a test
- I have a Massive head and struggle to get hats to fit (true story)
- I juggle 2 girls, work, home and life in general. But now I also juggle this!
The journey has just begun so be sure to check back and see how things are getting on.
